On 21 July 2017, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 occurred off the coast of Kos Island. Be aware that aftershocks may occur and follow the advice of the local authorities and tour operators.  Ferry and flight services may be disrupted due to the earthquake. Contact your airline, travel provider or ferry company for the latest information (see Additional information). The level of the advice has not changed. Exercise normal safety precautions in Greece.
